ÆRØXPRESSEN

The shortest way to Ærø

When you plan to visit beautiful Ærø, you should definitely choose to travel with ÆrøXpressen, a new and modern ferry that only takes 50 minutes to sail from Rudkøbing on Langeland to Ærø. The ferry docks in the middle of the island's maritime capital Marstal and once you have experienced the island's maritime history on a visit to marstal maritime museum, Ærø is open to you with countless experiences of both historical and natural nature.

To sail through the South Funen archipelago is like a cruise, passing by Strynø on one side and uninhabited islets on the other while you can glimpse Birkholm and Halmø in the horizon.

Use the short crossing to leave everyday hustle and bustle behind you, you are on your way to Ærø, an authentic all year community with welcoming kindness to everyone. Let Ærø into your heart and keep coming back. We welcome you with open arms on the ferry and ashore.
